Toddler Activity: Sidewalk Paint DIY

I usually like to let Frankie do a messy craft every chance I get. He loves it! And it feels good to just let him go to town without any limits. I don't know how to drive and we live in an apartment complex, so I usually have to be creative to keep things interesting. We did this sidewalk paint in a section of the parking lot on a cloudy day before it rained. I wanted to make sure it would be washed away by the next day. I didn't want to freak out any of the neighbors. Haha...

You only need 3 ingredients for this and you most likely have it in your pantry.

1 C cornstarch
1 C water
a few drops of food coloring

Combine the cornstarch and water until its thoroughly mixed.

Separate the mixture into different bowls and put the drops of food coloring in and mix.

You can also use a muffin tin to put the colors in. Doesn't work for me since we have to walk to the parking lot, with the stroller and my bag. Basically, if I don't have something with a lid, it would be a disaster.

Look at how vibrant these colors look! It was so pretty!

Honestly after less than 10 minutes he was over it, but it was almost 10 minutes nonetheless. Active toddlers are SO BUSY!

It's definitely lots of fun, you gotta try it!
