Ipsy Jan Glam Bag Review

I got my Ipsy January Glam Bag about 2 weeks ago and have a fun time testing out all of the products!

It's a beauty website where you pay $10/month to get 5 random huge sized samples. January was my first bag. I really don't have time to do much shopping for myself, let alone beauty shopping. I leave stores with bags of baby clothes and toys. So this idea intrigued me and thats why I signed up.

I love the fact that the samples come in a makeup bag. I was kind of worried the samples would just add to the clutter of my makeup draw. The bag is a dark blue with a royal blue with stars lining. It's cute. Inside is body butter, argan oil, nail polish, hair spray & eye shadow brush. The value of this bag is almost 50 bucks!

The body butter smells heavenlyyyyyy & leaves my skin super soft. This winter has left my skin particularly dry so I am loving the butter even more right now. The argan oil is nice. You can use it on split ends, cuticles, or your face as a moisturizer. I like that it wasn't really greasy, it just absorbed into my skin. The hair spray is good, doesn't leave my hair crunchy which is a plus. I haven't tried the eye shadow brush yet cuz ain't nobody got time for that. On to the nail polish...

Bloody Mary. I haven't owned a red polish in years. I'm more of a bright pink and french manicure kinda girl. The red was really nice, though I really feel like I need a tan now.

Just so you know, I only painted one hand. I forgot that red was Frankie's favorite color was red, so he kept trying to grab my fingers when they were still wet. It's cold out so I stuck my hand out the window and waved it around like a crazy person til it dried. That's why I didn't even attempt the other hand. Stressssfullllll WOOooo!

Overall I am satisfied with this bag and I'm anxious for next months. It's fun getting a package and not knowing what's inside. It's like Christmas all over again haha!
